At home with Blueprint
Our first feature in the illustrious Blueprint Magazine - Rusty House, written by Veronica Simpson.
Veronica Simpson really captures the essence of the house in this lovely expressive piece:
‘A facade that mimics a brick garden wall, topped by a #corten steel upper storey faceted in sympathy with surrounding trees and neighbours, unlocked both conservation area restrictions and the potential of this London mews house.’
And as she rightly points out
‘… it is also a mark of Lewisham Council planning department's willingness to bend the rules in order to boost the quality of infill housing in the borough.
‘Working in the film industry, both Lowe and Strong are enjoying the evolving discovery, as they settle in to their house, of the subtlety and variety of light as it plays across its contours, altering with the progress of each season.’
